火红的队旗高高飘扬

The red flag flew high

鲜艳的红领巾系满理想

And the bright red scarf was full of ideals

10月13日，是中国少年先锋队72岁生日。

October 13 marks the 72nd birthday of the Young Pioneers of China. 

济南托马斯小学部全体师生齐聚体育馆，开展建队节暨新生入队仪式。

All teachers and students of Jinan Thomas Primary School gathered in the gymnasium to carry out the team building day and the new students' initiation ceremony.

伴随着嘹亮的出旗曲，入队仪式拉开了序幕，旗手、护旗手高举队旗，少先队员向队旗敬礼。

“我们是共产主义接班人，继承革命先烈的光荣传统……”

全体师生肃穆站立，集体唱响《中国少年先锋队队歌》。

104名新生光荣地加入中国少年先锋队，成为少先队组织的一员。

小学部德育主任赵淑亮宣读新队员名单。

四五六年级老队员为新队员佩戴上红领巾。

胸前的红领巾在召唤我们。好好学习，好好锻炼，准备着为共产主义事业贡献力量！

队员们高举右拳宣誓，星星火炬照耀我，庄严誓词表决心。

小学部大队辅导员楚剑宣读聘任中队辅导员的决定。

小学部校长史俊为中队辅导员颁发聘书。

史校长为队员们送上了殷切嘱托：

Headmistress Shi gave a warm entrustment to the team members. 

每一名少先队员的胸前，都佩戴着鲜艳红领巾。这是对先烈不怕牺牲、敢于胜利的革命精神的致敬和传承。

She said that every pioneer wears a bright red scarf on his or her chest. This is a tribute to and a legacy of the revolutionary spirit of the martyrs who were not afraid to sacrifice and dared to win.

希望队员们都能铭记革命先烈的光荣事迹，从小立志向、有梦想，立足中国根本，兼具国际视野。

She hope that all the members will remember the glorious deeds of the revolutionary martyrs, set their aspirations and dreams from an early age, be based on the fundamentals of China and have an international outlook.

成为德才兼备、知识与能力能够和谐统一、具备全球胜任力的托马斯学子，成为自信行走世界的中国人！
