Specific Details of the Recruitment Implementation

1. Recruitment Target

Artists of all ages and nationalities with independent character from around the world can apply.

Media: Painting, sculpture, installation, new media, photography, cross - media projects. Works that combine traditional Japanese craftsmanship (lacquer art, metalwork, washi paper, etc.) for contemporary expression are welcome.

Core Requirement: The works need to reflect the "critical" state - the exploration of the limits of material materials or the reflection on social identity, cultural boundaries, and urban space.

2. Time Nodes

Public Recruitment: April 1 - May 1, 2026

Please note that the result will be notified via email or text message around May 8, 2026.

Application Method

1. Portfolio: High - definition images (JPEG/PDF) or video links of up to 5 representative works.

2. Work Information: Work title, size, material, creation year.

3. Artist Statement: Briefly explain your creative concept and its connection to the theme of this exhibition (within 500 words).

4. Personal Profile and Contact Information.

Note: Artists who are selected to participate will receive specific exhibition - related information.

Exhibition Fees

Selected artists need to pay a certain exhibition and publicity fee: 180,000 yen per person for a five - day exhibition time for each artist.

The fee includes: booth fee, basic exhibition setup assistance, opening reception, online and offline publicity and promotion, etc.

Other: If the participating artist needs to come to the site in person, assistance can be provided for handling Japanese visa applications, airport pick - up, hotel reservations, etc., and the cost will be settled separately.

The exhibition period is five days (excluding the exhibition setup time).
