2025年2月18日,“稽古振今——第八届杭州·中国画双年展暨全国高等艺术院校中国画教学临摹展”在浙江展览馆开幕。展览由中国美术家协会、浙江省文学艺术界联合会、浙江省文化广电和旅游厅、中国美术学院主办。本届“稽古振今”分为两部分:由特邀艺术家呈现的杭州·中国画双年展(主体展),与汇集多所国内高等艺术院校的中国画教学临摹展(平行展)共同组成。“稽古振今,士风一奋。”从中国画中不仅汲取传统的力量,更能看到其中蕴藏的前人的古今之思,是今人深度探求的再表述。“稽古”是积累的过程,“振今”则是迅猛的一击。参展作品承古意发新声,以时代之眼,绘万象风华,旨在探国画承变之途。展览将持续到3月18日。

稽古者,考镜源流,探赜索隐;振今者,继往开来,推陈出新。

中国画作为中华文明的重要载体,承载着千年的文化积淀与精神追求,历代画家以笔墨为媒介,于绘画中体悟天地,洞察世事。

艺术家王绍强作品《赤壤三千·2023》、《山林丘壑》、《子时星空I》、《子时星空II》受邀参加此次展览,在传统中国画的基础上,以笔墨为媒介,探索中国画的历史意义与当代文化价值。

前  言

稽古者,考镜源流,探赜索隐;振今者,继往开来,推陈出新。“稽古振今,士风一奋”之说,乃谭嗣同怀匡时济世之宏志,望取古之智,启今之新,如暗夜炬火,醒众人于蒙昧,为时代变革先声。此理于绘事,亦通彻昭然。

华夏丹青,源起上古,历经千载,流派纷呈。顾恺之写神妙之笔,吴道子展飞扬之韵,王维融诗画之境,八大蕴孤高之气,诸般技艺,皆为后世典范。传移模写乃溯源寻根之举,借古开今为顺应时变之道。

“稽古振今”画展,以双年展广集佳作,齐汇杭州。有吾辈高山仰止者,有践行涉先河者,或细究古法,摹古画于毫厘,勾皴点染,尽显古韵;或求新求变,承古意发新声,以时代之眼,绘万象风华,笔端含情,墨韵生新,旨在探国画承变之途。

愿观者游走于斯,能悟古人之心,携今人之志,举创新之要,共促文艺之兴。

Those who study the past seek to trace the origins and explore the hidden truths; those who invigorate the present strive to build on the past and introduce new ideas. The saying "Studying the past and invigorating the present, the spirit of scholars will be rekindled" reflects Tan Sitong's grand ambition to save the times and help the world. He hoped to draw wisdom from the past to inspire new ideas in the present, like a torch in the dark, awakening people from ignorance and heralding the transformation of the era. This principle is also clearly applicable to the art of painting.

Chinese painting, with its roots in ancient times, has flourished for thousands of years, giving rise to numerous schools. Gu Kaizhi captured the essence of the divine and the wondrous, Wu Daozi displayed the grace and vigor of his brushwork, Wang Wei integrated poetry and painting into a harmonious whole, and Bada Shanren embodied the spirit of aloofness and independence. All these masters and their techniques have set the standards for later generations. The practice of copying and imitating serves as a means to trace back to the origins and seek the roots, while drawing on the past to innovate is the way to adapt to the changing times.

This art exhibition, held as a biennial event, gathers outstanding works in Hangzhou. There are those whose works we admire as if they were lofty mountains, and those who pioneer new paths. Some meticulously study ancient techniques, meticulously replicating ancient paintings with great precision, using brushstrokes and ink washes to fully display the charm of the past. Others seek innovation and change, inheriting the essence of the past while creating new sounds, depicting the myriad wonders of the world with the perspective of the times, their brushstrokes brimming with emotion and their ink washes brimming with novelty. The aim is to explore the path of transformation and continuation in traditional Chinese painting.

王绍强基于对中西方艺术的理解,通过对当下艺术状况的观察,创作以一种穿越中西古今艺术的文化立场,对中国水墨艺术、尤其宋以后的中国画传统进行了系统的研究和借鉴,并在水墨艺术与地理学、人类学、考古学等学科的跨界互动和交融中,以当代艺术的视野从媒材、物理和制作性等维度,对传统进行了富于创造力和想象力的重构,发展出独特的视觉语言逻辑和艺术观看的工作方法。

Based on his understanding of Chinese and Western art and through his observation of the current art situation, Wang Shaoqiang has conducted a systematic study and reference of Chinese ink art, especially the traditional Chinese painting after the Song Dynasty, from a cultural stance that transcends the boundaries of time and space in both China and the West.

王绍强,号后山,现为广东美术馆馆长,文博研究员二级岗位,教授,博士生导师,享受国务院政府特殊津贴专家,兼任中国艺术研究院教授,中国美术家协会理事,广东省美术家协会副主席,广东省文化领军人才,现工作生活于广州。

王绍强专注于东方哲学思想与自然观的深入研究,关注中华传统文脉的当代转换,不断在观念与方法论层面寻找突破。基于对中西方艺术发展的理解,对当下艺术生态的观察,致力于古今中西共通的他将当代思维方式与创作视野介入传统文化情境的重构中。对中国水墨、纸本材料的尊重与谙熟让他将个体情怀投入艺术创作,从而形成独到的视觉逻辑、当代视野及艺术纬度。其作品被中国美术馆、广东美术馆、湖北美术馆、浙江美术馆、山东美术馆、关山月美术馆、广州美术学院美术馆、亚洲艺术中心、何香凝美术馆、33当代艺术中心等艺术机构及重要私人藏家收藏。
